Thanks for joining me today! Here is a fun project for you to make!
Each month I join my fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in a Color Challenge. The 'rules' are you can use ONLY the 3 specific colors for the challenge, Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock, and Black ink. This month's colors were definitely a challenge, but I am happy with what I came up with! The colors were - Pacific Point, Soft Sea Foam and Gray Granite.
Card Tutorial
- Cut a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Pacific Point and fold it in half. This is your base.
- To the Pacific Point base, randomly stamp the snowflake image from the Snowman Season stamp set, using Gray Granite ink.
- Cut a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock. Randomly stamp the snowflakes onto this piece using either Soft Sea Foam ink.
- Cut a 3/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White for the Merry Christmas stamp. I stamped this in Pacific Point.
- Stamp the snowman onto a scrap of Whisper White using Gray Granite ink. Cut out the image using the Rectangle Stitched Dies,
- Lightly color the snowman using the Wink of Stella brush, Pacific Point and Gray Granite ink pads.
- Adhere everything to your card base using your favorite adhesives. Use Stampin' Dimensionals for the sentiment.
Difficult to see in the picture, but the snowman is LOADED with shimmer thanks to the Wink of Stella brush! Give the snowballs and buttons some dimension using the Shimmery Crystal Effects.
